Rochelle’s Answer

My initial career goal was to become a nurse and when I was searching for schools I chose the top nursing schools in my state(FL- USF, UM, FSU, UF). If you stay "in state" you will save a lot of money and limit the debt coming out of college. Depending on the state you want to work in I would look into if the state is considered a compact state (where your license can be used in multiple states). Also, consider going to a community college because that can also decrease the cost of nursing school. At the end of the day a nurse is a nurse no matter where you graduate from. Within this profession your experience is much more important than where you earned your degree.
