Hey Yahir,
I am not sure if I fully understand your question, but I will attempt a brief answer. It might be better to frame the questions around your Career as opposed to your Job. Think about what value you can offer to a company or consumer, and think about what makes your skillset unique. It is very important to Invest in Yourself. Lateral thinking, transferable skills and personal/ professional pursuits are all huge benefits in your career. You might go into a scientific or engineering field, but creative thinking and social skills will help you stand out. Maybe you acquire those skills through your hobbies or social clubs, or whatever, but as long as you are focused on growing yourself, it will all relate back to your work.
I will say that it is important to really build a core skillset that is aligned to your job. Treat people well and do the best you can in your role. But it is ok to spend time developing yourself, learning and growing.
