What are the best studies to major in for medical school?
I want to become a surgeon, however I am having trouble deciding on what I want to or should major in for school. #doctor #medicine

There are so many types of surgeons. You probably should start by exploring what you find interesting.. Hearts... Bones... Organs... Reconstructive.. Etc..
Also research what you are interested as far as being on call and doing something that requires emergent surgeries vs surgery that is basically elective and scheduled
Also, do you want to do surgery that is in a specialty where you do or do not spend a lot of time with patients in the office or something where other physicians do most of the preliminary and post op care.. There are a lot of details to think about
Perhaps look into calling a good local hospital big enough to have a wide variety and ask Hunan resources about doing a visit to observe
