First off, let me repeat something I've said many times before. It's good news that you don't need to find a "good school" but rather a decent school with a mechanical engineering program that includes robotics. The reason I say that is because a "good" school -- one with name recognition -- may help you get a first job, but the school you went to will become less and less important as your career progresses. As I've said also, working hard at any school will probably look better than flunking out of a good school.
Another bit of good news is that robotics is HOT. Most schools with a mechanical engineering program or any engineering program for that matter will have a robotics program. Another thing is that robotics will be more and more coupled with modern Artificial Intelligence. You may have noticed how many "'bots" we have in the workplace today. I mean "bot" as in AI-type virtual assistants. We have Siri, Alexa, Google, etc., and self-driving cars and all sorts of things. So AI is no longer "exotic" but, rather, expected. And "expected" means "common", so a decent engineering school will get you on your way in robotics as well as the related sciences of AI, Internet of Things, Big Data, etc.. So enjoy!

Hi Marco. Thank you for your question. This field appears to offer a prosperous career. I found a site on Robotic Engineering Schools in the US that you may find useful. Gradschoolhub.com lists the top 20 schools and the website. Here's the link: https://www.gradschoolhub.com/best/robotics-engineering-schools/. Also, check out the additional links in my Suggested Next Steps.
I wish you much success on your journey. Best of luck to you!
