Well I can share you mine although i am not a scientist yet, it depends on either you have a research to work on or not.

If I have a research, I go at the morning and remove the samples from the fridge and start preparing it to be injected in the HPLC. At that time, I am injecting previous samples that kept in the fridge from yesterday. After that I can record the results and start made some graphs. Or I can work on some research points to prepare the articles while waiting samples to be analyzed by HPLC.

Mainly when I am using the auto-injector HPLC I spend time preparing the samples at the morning and then I will have a good time to read and search for a new points or write continue writing the research paper , guidelines, or writing articles related to my topic on blogs.

In addition, I can have some time to check the upcoming conferences, qualification exams, lessons, and handle administration tasks if given from my supervisor
