Elizabeth’s Answer

Great question!  You should talk to your school guidance counselor because each school district will have specific requirements (and they may not be the same as the district in another town or state).

Elizabeth recommends the following next steps:

Talk to your counselor
Check your current transcript
Identify core courses that you don't have yet (like math, science, language, arts)

This answer should be provided by the school you attend. Usually you need 120 credits to graduate from college in the United States of America.

Brian’s Answer

I agree that speaking with the school's counselor will better answer the requirements since the number varies depending on the major and the school from which you are graduating. However, the average number of college credits you need to complete a program averages about 64 credits for a 2-year associate's degree and 120 credits for a 4-year degree.
