Hi Brian. You know I wondered the same thing when I was in high school. In all honesty I also remember worrying if 2nd grade was going to be hard, if 5th grade was going to be hard, if junior high was going to be hard. Each was a challenge for me and likely you too. BUT.....we/you got through all those years and you will get through college likely in the same manner. More will be expected of you. There can be several textbooks for one course with multiple term papers. And you may take several courses per term with this kind of load. For the most part however the courses you take will be ones you selected and that, usually, means things you are interested in----your major if you will. AND, if they are interesting they are often easier. Challenging, but one you can hit. And here's how.
Time management. For the most part you'll be on your own and there are lots of new things to suck up your time. You'll need to be conscientious about your studies. You'll find college less 'hard' if you are prepared every day. And, Brian, what you learn in college both academically and in the way you manage time, is a package that sets you up for a career. If studies are your top priority you'll do fine my friend.
