Is fashion marketing a career that is long lasting , and something that will create a successful business in the long run?
Every since i was a little girl , i was always interested in fashion, colors, clothes, and most of all shopping. When i tie all of that together it leads me to wanting to have a career in fashion marketing . #marketing #fashion

You can absolutely make a lifelong career or business in fashion marketing, especially if it's your true passion. There are many different ways to be involved in fashion marketing, so I'd recommend doing some research into all the different types of fashion marketing jobs, and figure out how you can start learning those skills. That way, if you start by learning the skills you'll need, you can better decide if you want to start your own business or work at an established company. Some jobs in the fashion marketing field include: digital design, online advertising, public relations, copywriting, ad production, video production, event planning, journalism, magazine production, blogging, market research and more. When I worked in fashion marketing in Manhattan I worked on the public relations, blogger outreach, event management, magazine writing, and fashion blog writing.

YES! Fashion has been around forever and I really don't see it being a bad career investment. A bad career choice now would be something involving Economics or Oil. I think if that's what you've been interested in since you were young, you should follow that dream. You can make a great living in the fashion world.

Fashion is a business that is embedded in every culture, and I think that as long as you have a desire to keep up with industry concepts and techniques, you can have a successful career.
When thinking about fashion marketing, be prepared to gain skills in a digital environment since most people view new information digitally through their mobile devices. This may include areas of Information Technology and Computer Science, such as, analytics, web design, and using software that enables you to market or sell your fashion to millions of people on the internet!

Pursuing a career in the fashion industry can definitely be a long lasting career choice. There are so many levels to the fashion industry I will mimmick what was already stated you will definitely have to do your research, the great thing about this industry being so multifaceted you can start in one area and move around, test the waters in the various arenas. You will need to keep up with the latest trends, colors, etc.
If you are truly passionate about Fashion you will do well.
