Depending on what you want to do as a pilot. If you want Airlines, alot of different reasons why you love it. Places you get to go, things you get to see. The views from the cockpit at night.
You have different choices. I fly Helicopters. I do alot of different things. I fly sight seeing flights, hog hunting, off shore, power line patrol, photo flights, real estate, charter flights, flight instruction. Very rarely is my day the same 2 days in a row. I get to do what I love and I am getting paid for it. LIVING THE DREAM living

Adrian’s Answer

My favorite part is the quality of time I get at home by not having to take work home with it. Being a pilot affords me the opportunity to do what I love and fly. While also giving me the chance to enjoy my time at home since my job takes place at the airport and in the plane.

Aviatrix’s Answer

Most Pilots love what they do and what better way to do it by getting paid! Airline pilots get to travel all over the country and in some airlines, all over the world. You get travel perks for you and your family, buddy passes. The job can get stressful at times when you’re dealing with delays, weather and passenger issues but then there are those times when everything is working right, no delays, maintenance and its just an easy as can be. Your not stuck in a cubicle, your views are spectacular. You get to witness the best sunrises and sunsets. If your lucky you can experience the Northern Lights. The pay is not as bad as it was in the recent years. Airlines are starting to catch up in pay as the need for pilot rises. I hope I gave you a bit of insight into the airline life, good luck!
