Tristen’s Answer

Personally I wanted to help care and nurture others. I wanted to specifically focus on babies. So I chose to become a baby nurse. I specialized Neonatal intensive care.

Gerald’s Answer

This is a GOLDEN question! Being an RN is amazing as there are a vast array of specialties. There is always something different to get into as a nurse. I am currently a Medical Oncology Nurse. I eventually want to get into the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and then obtain my MSN in education to teach. Perhaps pursue my Nurse Practitioner as well.

Nursing is full of possibilities! You can work with patients all across the life span including infants, toddlers, adolescents, adults and older adults. You don’t have to work with people at the bedside at all and work in Information Technology or Research. You can become an Educator or own your own practice. You can become a travel nurse and travel the nation or the work offering your services. There is a great amount of possibilities! That’s what interests me most about it.
