Can you be employed in the military, be a fireman, and personal training at the same time?
hi, I'm a junior in high school and I want to be all three of these and wondered what professionals would think #navy #personal-training #firefighter

There is no guarantee you will get permission, but if you are a not a troublemaker, etc, I cannot see any reason why it would not be permitted.
Good luck!

Hi Seth,
Thanks for the question. It is possible to work a 2nd job while serving as an active duty military member, but remember that the military will ALWAYS take priority. In addition, you will have to seek permission to work a 2nd job which may or may not be approved (there are a lot of factors that have to be considered first).
I would encourage you to think about trying to get the best of both worlds: You could perform part-time military service via the Army National Guard or Army Reserve, the Air National Guard or Air Reserve, the Navy Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, or the Marine Corp Reserve. That way you'd still be able to pursue opportunities as a firefighter and/or personal trainer.
