Frances’s Answer

Hi Dante! Yes I definitely do. I feel that education is very important and you can never know too much. Whether informal or formal there is so much out there to discover and uncover. I encourage to never stop learning and to alway be curious.

Sunithi’s Answer

Hi Dante! I do agree with Frances statement that education is very important and can be done formally or informally. Personally, I am interested in furthering my education, but do not have plans to formally further my education at this time. As part of my job, my company provides opportunities for us to informally educate ourselves on various accounting and finance through learning programs like Coursera as well as hands-on training, which is nice for me to continue my education on an informal basis. I have considered more formal education paths, but ultimately decided that for what I am looking to get out of my career at this point in my life, additional formal school is not required. I would suggest if you are interested in going back to school or furthering your education, to try to informally learn about the topic more before committing to a more formal path such as college. Also going to career fairs or college fairs such as MBA fairs where multiple schools are present can help in determining what skills are needed for careers you are interested in or how degrees such as MBAs can benefit you in your career goals. This can help you narrow down what skills you would like to obtain as well as connect you with people who can help you to end up in the programs you want to be in. Hope this helps!

Jeffrey’s Answer

Yes, definitely even though I already have 2 master degrees. Because I like to learn and like to grow. Learning involves hard work, time and effort. But those are the fun and reward parts. You make an effort and you get what you are looking for.
