Misty’s Answer

Keisha, way to go on the future planning! It is great that you are looking ahead. I would definitely say that you would need to look at the specific type of medicine you are going into before you look at location. This would allow you to better be suited to know what types of patients you are looking to treat or if you are looking for more of a medical hospital supervising staff. Once you know what you want to do with the degree you are seeking, then you can do a demographics search to be more prepared for the move to a location that is going to be better suited to the area of the medical field you are looking to get into once you reach your Masters.

Good Luck

Michael’s Answer

If you in Maine, you can select many states that have good medical schools. MA, MD, NY and even further south. You need to be prepared to get into a good medical school.

Richard’s Answer

Texas is considered a good location for medical practice. Tort reform in 2003 decreased the number and size of judgements against physicians. Also there is no state income tax in Texas.
