Cinthya’s Answer

All kinds.
Bottom line they are sick and need care.
Everything from aggressive, confused and mean to nice and appreciative. Or any combination of the above and different times.
But they all need care.
And most of the time, if they were healthy they wouldn’t be that way. They would be normal.
But they need care.
So you don’t take it personally and you provide compassionate care and protect their modesty.

Carol’s Answer

People that are hurting either physical or mentally. Some just want you to listen to them. People have different belief systems and have limited knowledge of how their body works. Some people are angry and want to blame their pain on others- listen and do not judge, same are sad and lonely- encourage them to talk. A career in nursing you will be dealing with people who are usually not at their best. Nursing is a very rewarding career
