You should volunteer in a hospital! See if any hospitals near you have internships or volunteer programs for student.

Being a nurse can be the most exhausting job both physically and mentally but also most rewarding. Nursing has so many different opportunities to help heal patients. If you don't like one area you can try another. I found I didn't like bed side nursing so I went to become a Care Coordinator and loved it. Now I work in with health insurance and couldn't be happier in where I am. Depending on what you want to do will vary on what it's like to be a nurse or even a doctor.
