Whats it like in the day to day life of a pharmacy technician?

I'm 20 years old and I'm in the job corps program. I'm thinking I want to go into pharmacy technician as my trade but I'm not 100% sure. I don't really know what to expect I don't know much about what they do if someone could help me understand more about them that would be greatly appreciated. Like if it is a good trade to learn, the benefits from it, and if it is worth trying for.

It is very customer service related work. You are the face of the pharmacy. You may have some of the most interactions with the patients. Overall, there is lots of speaking with patients, payers, and providers on the phone. There are some monotonous tasks such as counting pills, entering orders, and stocking shelves. However, it is a very rewarding job.
