It is very common to see IMG's on rotations called observerships. This basically allows an IMG to shadow US doctors and get to know them.

Hello Neeharika,
I am currently a medical student and as long as you are willing to travel to America to study an American doctor it should be pretty easy to shadow. I would reach out to multiple doctors and ask them if you would be able to shadow them on a certain day and time. Doctors are really busy, so they might not get back to you right away. Also, make sure you have all of your clearances done because sometimes it is hard to get into a hospital. It is much easier if the doctor has a private practice.
