Cordelia’s Answer
Great question! For me, I begin each work day by looking at my calendar and to-do items. I set small goals for myself so that I can ensure I am always making progress. Usually, I have several meetings on my calendar where I must be prepared to speak with clients and collaborate with peers. There are times where I must intervene or de-escalate an unforeseen issue with a client. Being able to quickly adapt to various situations is how you build your muscles. Embrace the challenges.
I also carve out time to explore resources and learn new things that would help me in my role. The important thing to remember is to balance your day. Don't bite off more than you can chew. Minimize stress as much as possible. Take a break, grab a coffee. Work smart, not hard! Being organized and mapping out your day ahead of time will enable you to execute your job duties in a thoughtful, productive way.
I hope this was helpful to you!
