Hi Sebastian -
I'm not sure if I understand your question as it relates to "facility management". But I can speak towards systems used in corporate accounting. Here at Dell, we use a variety of accounting systems such as SAP Oracle, Teradata, Excel, and many Dell specific systems. Of these, Excel is definitely the most used and versatile system we use. I would recommend trying to become as familiar as possible with Excel before starting a career in accounting, it will set you apart and put you that much further ahead of your colleagues.
Good luck!
Phil

Given i'm part of the SAP Technology practice, there is a "module" called real estate that can be leveraged for leasing and facility management. There are also other modules that help with managing a plant or a distribution center to see how much energy is consumed as part of the software. Oracle and other ERP's have similar technologies for facility management. As part of COVID, PwC has built an application to help with "cleaning & safety" as we restart businesses.
