Lindsay’s Answer

Patience is smart, but patience doesn't mean you need to sit back and wait for your career to advance. Alternatively, I think it pays off to take initiative to progress your own career. Think about ways to set yourself up for success in the future. Always grow your network, highlight your impact to the company, help others, and "do the new role" before you actually receive the "new title / promotion". If you just sit back and trust the company to progress your career for you, it could happen. But if you take a driven approach while also balancing patience, I think you'll be in a much better position for growth. Hope this helps!

Lindsay recommends the following next steps:

Grow your network - internally at the company and externally in the industries you're interested in
Stay patient yet driven - take proactive steps to advance your career

GABRIELA’s Answer

I believe if you are passionate about your work , always do above and beyond and have a work ethics there will always be someone that will appreciate your effort and see how valuable you are. Patience is a virtue but don’t let that get you distracted away from your passion

Good luck
