I have a few good friends that are in the welding industry. One in particular has been advancing a lot in the past few years. He has learned and perfected specific types of welding which opened up more opportunity for him.

He has since joined the union and has been working in the aviation industry thriving with good pay and good benefits

Hello there, You are in a great profession. You will make a great living in welding! It has been reported that in 10 years this will be hard to find. Most schools have job placement and the instructor is usually contacted for candidates. Good luck!
