So many things! Not that my job is perfect, or that every day is the best, BUT there are several things that make work great. First - I love my coworkers! The teams I get to work with make both work and personal life better - they can be a great support system, but they can also push me further then I thought I was capable of going. Secondly - I like the type of work I do. For me, I picked a job that aligned well with what I was naturally good at. That isn't always an option, but I'd make it a point to look for jobs in areas or in topics that you are already interested in or have a talent for! Third - work allows me the opportunity to give back to my community (volunteering, a salary that I can use for good, etc) and that makes me happy. So - those are the things I like about my job, and I hope you can find a job that you love too!

Hi there!

There are a few things that are important to me about a career. I think it is important to work with good people that you get along with. Feel it out during the interview process, and try to get a good idea if you'd like the people you will be working with. It is also important to work for a company that is interesting to you. If the company's mission statement aligns with your personal interests, it will be easier to stay eager and excited to come to work each day.
