From my previous experience, Office Administrators work 9-5 but some work longer hours depending on their immediate supervisor and the scope of their job function. Usually Monday to Friday but again that will vary on the company you work for.

Most of my career was in office administration. Office hours for secretaries, clerks, data entry, etc. are any time between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Usually, most of these type positions don't qualify for overtime. If you go into positions like office manager, administrative assistant, executive assistance, etc., you will probably have to work more hours. If you want "bankers hours" (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), you should look banks, credit unions, and some finance companies.
