The same as any pre med student. The specialty training for pediatrics, is in residency. But if you want to be one step ahead of everyone else, become a scribe. Where you can follow a pediatric physician. Scribes are usually hired during pre med. Following a pediatrician every day , for a while as a scribe, is already a residency. A scribe is sort of a medical transcriptionist that follows the doctor. You enter his/her notes, treatment plans and orders. And you are free from any patient care.
http://scribeamerica.com/ you can apply online. Be sure to tell them on the app., that you like pediatrics!
Get the book: (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support. It’s very inspiring for future pediatricians.

Any 4 year university should be able to provide you with all of the premed requirements (1 year biology, 1 year inorganic chemistry, 1 year organic chemistry + labs, physics, calculus, and biochemistry).
