Richard’s Answer

Being a physician can be stressful, especially when the patients have an incurable illness. After years of education and training, the feeling of helplessness can be devastating.

But that's the exception, usually I am very happy with my job and would recommend it as a career.

Brian’s Answer

The medical field offers fantastic opportunities in many different jobs. You can pursue opportunities in patient care, ie.. doctor, nurse, therapists, pharmacist, to name a few. You don't always need an advanced degree to gain employment either, there are many positions that may only require a certificate of study ie.. certified nurse assistant, radiology tech, phlebotomist. These positions and requirements can differ depending on your state. Its a great field and I think there will always be opportunities.
Thank you comment icon Hey Brian, this is a great overview of the different professions in the medical field but the student was wondering more about the environment in the medical workspace. Any info you have on that would be helpful! Gurpreet Lally, Admin
