Mansi’s Answer

If you are starting a career in welding, we recommend taking a minimum of 3 classes. Of course, with any trade, the more training you receive, the better you are positioned within the job market. To complete all the classes, it would take about 6-8 months. Rest totally depends on how well you practice and all the techniques that are required.

Misty’s Answer

Victor,

Great question. In reference to your question, it would depend on the type of welding that you want to get into. For example if you want to go into normal welding it would take a shorter training period than say underwater welding which would require learning different skills but also still be welding certified. My suggestion would be to check out the different types of welding and see which one you really want to do and then research the education needed or training period needed.
