A degree in Business Management will greatly help you move up in corporate.  I have worked administrative support all of my career and I know my degree has helped me move up to executive support.

I'd suggest starting with a 2 year community college degree and get an entry level position with a major company that offers tuition reimbursement. Its a great way to get noticed in your company and have them pay for the last two years of your bachelor's degree.

A general business degree will get you noticed, but office administrators wear many hats that many undergraduate programs can fill! Practice your Microsoft Office programs and take internships in college if possible.
