Congratulations on choosing a career in nursing. It is a very rewarding career, and so many avenues you can follow with this profession. I started out as med/surg nurse on an orthopedic unit, have worked as a Camp Nurse for kids with Diabetes, worked as a diabetes educator, occupational nurse at largest entertainment company in the world, and am now currently working on Covid Tracing Team. With each role, I've learned and been able to expand my knowledge base.

I would check with meeting with a career counselor at the tech school, so they can guide you on the courses you will need for nursing.

Mackenzie this is a great question.

If you will look at the courses that school offers, it should let you know whether or not they are going to offer the Nursing program. Most tech schools will offer classes needed for basic LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) and help you study for the NCLEX which is for your license. If you want to go further into the nursing field, you may need a 4 year college depending on what you want to do.
