How do you determine your different teaching styles?
I am a senior at Miller High School and I am planning on going to a four-year college to double major in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have chosen this career because I think it is important for students to get the correct learning experience and materials in a reasonable learning environment. #education

I am not a teacher, but as a parent what I would best suggest would be to think on your learning path thus far. What did you like about your teachers and what didn't you like about your teachers? What could they have done for you differently to make your education more meaningful. You can even take note of these same questions within your friends and family.
Once you really think about it, try and figure out what you would like to implement. What is important for you as you head into the teaching world, this will help you develop your sense of self and how you want to be known as a teacher. Especially if you are looking into the Special Education fields, take a look at tasks that will be required and try and develop different ways to overcome obstacles and that can help lead you down a path that creates your teaching style.
Ultimately, flexibility, communication and listening are going to be your main skills. different school districts will have different requirements, students will have differing style and as you work through those situations you will find that your learning and teaching styles will develop naturally.
