Good luck at college. To be a successful coach, good communication skills are essential. You should be a good story teller. Any message you want to convey can be delivered effectively with powerful delivery. Honesty and integrity is very important to build trust.

Hi Kadye,
To be a good coach being a good communicator is key. During your coaching career you will deal with a number of different athletes, with varying personalities. You have to be able to convey your messages to different types of people in a way that will motivate them. Also, you need to be able to adjust your style to the different needs of your athletes. Some will respond better to a more stern hand, others will need you to be a bit softer in how you coach them. Good luck!
