Padraic’s Answer

Hi Kadye,

To be a good coach being a good communicator is key. During your coaching career you will deal with a number of different athletes, with varying personalities. You have to be able to convey your messages to different types of people in a way that will motivate them. Also, you need to be able to adjust your style to the different needs of your athletes. Some will respond better to a more stern hand, others will need you to be a bit softer in how you coach them. Good luck!
