What are some classes that I can take so it can help me to be a surgeon?
My name is Alondra and this is my junior year and I want to know what classes can help me to be a pediatric surgeon and what can I do when I get to my senior year.

Hey Alonda, that's a great career path to be looking to pursue! Also quite challenging study-wise...
Sanchin's answer is completely true, you must complete undergraduate before you can specialise so there is lots of time to work out which specialisation is right for you. The most important thing now is to focus on sciences and maths topics to make sure you have a strong technical base to support practical as you move through the program.

All physicians, including surgeons, must first complete an undergraduate degree program, usually in a science area such as biology or chemistry. Following undergraduate school, you then must complete four years of medical school and a three-year residency.
