i am in the 10 grade and i am just beginning to explore my future career, what are some careers and helpful next steps i should consider based on my passions and interests?

at school, i am most interested in cook and teacher, while my hobbies include to draw and listen to music. a topic that i am passionate about is the animals and environment. what are some career options that best align with these interests and what are some helpful next steps i can do in the near future?

See if you can shadow or set up visits with local business where your interests lie. I was able to work shadow at a farm, a vet clinic, library, and dairy while I was in high school which allowed me to narrow down what I wanted to do next.

Wow Judith, you are diverse indeed. I love the passion. Reading through your list of interests I kept thinking forest service. I live in Montana and on any given day folks that work for the forest service can be asked to do any or all of the things you enjoy. Cooking at fire camp, teaching school children about the environment, working a post at a fire watch tower where you will be able to sketch til your heart is content, all while making a difference in the world.

Keep an open mind and start thinking outside the box. Good luck.
