What are the struggles and challenges of being an elementary school teacher?
Hi!
I am a sophomore at Boston Collegiate Charter School, and I am considering becoming a teacher. I know it might be hard, and I was wondering what are the biggest struggles that I will face. #teacher #education #children #elementary

The biggest struggle for me is making learning fun, when children think they are having fun, I find that the children in my children retain more information.
I use many of my community resources to help with this.

Hi Daniela,
Teachers change lives I am forty something and I still remember my kindergarten teacher. I have two best friends who are teachers so I asked them and they said the following:
Lack of supplies
constant change of curriculum
lack of parent involvement
absenteeism
teaching all subjects when you only specialize in one
crowded schools
students entering school without basic skills
classroom management
lack of funding
However, they told me with all the lack of they love teaching and would not change their profession. I hope this help and wishing you much continued success.
