Besides Pediatricians and OBGYNs, what are other jobs that work with newborn babies?

I am a sophomore in Boston and I am interested in working in the medical field. Specifically, I want to work with newborns, but I do not think I want to deliver babies. I am wondering what other options I have, if any. Thank you for your thoughts! #nursing #nurse #babies #icu-nurse

You have plenty of options. You don't have to be an L&D (Labor and Delivery) nurse. You can be a neonatal nurse, which deals with babies in the nursery after delivery. You can be a pediatrician, which is a physician that takes care of children ages 0-18. You can work in the Neonatal ICU which is an intensive care unit that takes care of newborns having trouble adapting to life outside of the womb. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is another option where you have the same role in healthcare as a physician but less school and less pay (but also less school debt) in which you can take care of children in the same age range as pediatricians. Again these are a few options, you do have options though
