What kind of auto-mechanic make the most money?
I'm starting my automotive career in Job Corps and I would like to know how much you will make once you get higher and higher in promotions or just go to college for a similar career or another career. #auto-mechanic #automotive #career

The first thing you may want to take a look at is where auto-mechanics make more money as well as the job availability in those areas. Doing some light research online, here is a list of some of the higher-paying states:
• California, Maryland. $63,150
• Fairbanks, Alaska. $61,250
• Austin, Texas. $56,990
• San Francisco, California. $56,390
• Bridgeport, Connecticut. $55,820
Another question you may want to ask yourself is whether or not you want to join a current business or start your own; that can be a huge game-changer on how you want to approach your future. A great suggestion would be to start doing research on where the automotive industry is moving towards. Electric Vehicles are prominently rising in popularity, so as Allen suggested that may be the best option -- however, make sure that you check where you want to live in comparison to how many EV are actually manufactured/purchased because if your town does not deal much with them it may not be worth it unless you plan to move.
