Robin’s Answer

I'm learning all day. I attend meetings to learn and to contribute to a variety of topics, which include solving problems, improving experiences for our customers, improving the work environment for our teams, etc. I find it energizing to brainstorm and engage with others as that's when the best ideas come about. Acknowledging other's contributions is also important and improves engagement and engenders loyalty. Always ensure your day includes time and opportunities for learning, creative thinking or brainstorming with others and make sure you love what you do. Surround yourself with positive people with strengths in areas that are different than yours. You'll be amazed at what you will accomplish together.

Robin recommends the following next steps:

Review your days to determine the percentage of time you're working on what's important and what you get the most energy and pleasure from. Eliminate, reduce or delegate those where you're not. You'll see the benefits as soon as you do.

Rebecca’s Answer

Usually, I would read emails 1st thing in the morning. Clients and colleagues in different timezone would send me emails overnight. I would respond to them one by one. Throughout the day, below are my typical activities :

- Meeting Preparation
- Client Meeting & Internal stakeholder meeting/conference calls
- Prepare documents
- Reply emails

In general, the tasks / activities are similar but there is something new to me everyday. There are different challenges to overcome. I would take this as an learning opportunity and tests to my capability. We can always learn from others and challenges.

Hope this help!

Liselot’s Answer

I work mainly from home. When I wake up I do fitness for 30m to 1 hour and then I have breakfast with my partner, read mails, slack etc. Shower and then the real working day starts. As director each day is different. Ofcourse I have my regular zoom (video) meetings. Sales calls, 1-1s, hiring interviews, project calls, team calls. I always try to book some space in my calendar to really work on strategy.
