I am assuming you are in high school. Anatomy and physiology courses are very helpful when considering the medical field. One must also be proficient in math, biology, and chemistry. Best of luck!

Typical medical school prerequisites include:
Biology: Lecture – 4 semesters; Lab – 1 semester
General Chemistry: Lecture – 2 semesters; Lab – 1 semester
Organic Chemistry: Lecture – 2 semesters; Lab – 1 semester
Biochemistry: Lecture – 1 semester
General Physics: Lecture – 2 semesters; Lab – 1 semester
Math: Statistics – 1 semester
English: Rhetoric (Composition) and Literature – 2 semesters

Hi Aybrianna! I agree with previous answers, especially the required courses. For recommend courses I would take anatomy/physiology, cell/molecular biology, and genetics. They will also help you in preparing you for the MCAT as well and when you enter medical school you will also feel more prepared as well!
