Hi Carmyn,
I've done both and found them both to be enjoyable for different reasons. It often is more down to more that just enjoyment and what you value in life. If you value stability, a steady, regular, guaranteed income then a career with an organisation will be far more appealing and aligned to what it important to you. If, however, you value complete autonomy and working on something you are wildly passionate about then the life of an entrepreneur may well be for you. The big thing to remember is that they are not mutually exclusive and you can do both! In fact, if you have an entrepreneurial 'itch' you will find it very hard not to scratch it at some point!
Find out what your personal values are, review them regularly and they will prove a useful tool as you navigate the future. If your 'gut' is telling you something, it is usually because your values are being either supported or suppressed, so being able to articulate them will serve you well.
Best of luck...

Based on my personal experience, being an entrepreneur is challenging, whilst extremely rewarding. Both components are related to the fact, that you have full ownership and endless opportunities to develop your business from beginning until the end. You can build your vision and drive your own strategy. You can find wonderful people along your journey who will support you, main thing is to continue being proactive, seeing for improvements, opportunities and build good relationships with the network you have surrounding your business (i.e. suppliers if you have a store, developers if you're working on an app, etc).
