To be honest I didn't realize that I wanted to be a teacher, the love of learning languages, which English happened to be my favorite of all led me to what I am today, as if I was distend to be an ESL teacher from the very start. I realized that people need to see that languages in general and English in specific is more than mere letters or words, it is a magic that enables people from all over the world sharing ideas, knowledge and emotions.

Frank’s Answer
During last term at Catering College our teacher told the classes how he became a teacher. At the end of his speech he turned to me and said "Frank have you ever thought of becoming a trade teacher too"? I was stunned as I had never thought that such a thing existed or I had the skills necessary. I went home that day with a dream and with the help of my parents it became a reality. Often now I do the same thing with groups of students so they can dream too... Hope you liked my story?

To be honest I didn't realize that I wanted to be a teacher. I was guided by the love of learning new languages which English happened to be my favorite of all. I enjoyed the process of learning it till the day came when I just found myself teaching it for one very simple reason, I wanted other people to see that languages in general and English in specific is more than just letters and words it is something magical that enables people from different countries and cultures to share ideas, knowledge and emotions.

I didn't really know that I had the ability to teach until someone else pointed it out. I actually love to help people learn new things. I am addicted to seeing the knowledge and confidence come out in a person who learns something from me. It actually started with the writing of documentation for me. I would write policy and procedures documents and then teach new employees from the documents. Then my management identified me as an on-the-job trainer. I then became a corporate trainer.
