I have been a high school teacher for quite sometime before I joined the corporate world as a trainer. The most enjoyable moment for me is when you transpose learners from a world of unknown to known. Seeing your students master an art that they knew nothing about and becoming good in it, that thrill!

That feeling that you impacted new knowledge always gives you the zeal to more to new avenues.

Hello!
I have worked with kids for a long time. First as a preschool teacher then with students who receive special education services. I am currently getting a masters degree in special education! I feel like the best part about being a teacher is when you see the students you work with learn and grow. It is the most rewarding part of the job, you work with them everyday and when you see them starting to understand topics. It is very rewarding!
Hope this helps!

Frank’s Answer

Dear Students. Thanks for your question: "What is the most enjoyable part of becoming a Teacher?"

From my experience, everything is enjoyable to Teachers because we are like parents with large families. Our task is to help our students to achieve success in and out of their classrooms!

Here are five (5) suggestions to try:

Frank recommends the following next steps:

1. Ask to become an emergency teacher - that way the school will provide you with the teaching notes - then you give them out in class and you learn to think on your feet!
2. Collect the handouts at the end of the lesson and make sure they contain the students full name and student number/date/feedback are handed back to the class teacher.
3. Make sure you have filled out the class role book and written up the teaching program you used in the back of the class role book.
4. Make sure you hand in all the documents and class role book and emergency teachers salary form to the school office before you go home. Make sure you keep a copies for future reference.
5. Best Wishes and Good Luck! https://www.careervillage.org/users/74836/frank

Prerna’s Answer

Hi,

I have been a tuition teacher for 8 years now . Though I have never taught in a formal school , I believe with my experience in teaching kids, I can still answer this well.

For me the most enjoyable part is when a student starts to like a chapter, topic or subject that they earlier disliked. It gives a distinct sense of self satisfaction.

Another thing that I love a lot is when students open up about their issues. When they feel I am safe space with whom they can talk about anything. I know that is when I have the chance to guide them to the right way not just in terms of education but in their life too.

It is extremely gratifying to see a student you teach succeed further education wise , career wise or in any way in life.
