Hello Anastasia -
Becoming an elementary teacher has several long-term benefits depending on what you are looking for your end result to be. As someone who has a circle of influential teachers around me, I can tell you that one of the biggest long-term benefits is the impact you have on the students at such young and critical ages of development. What some may not realize is that you do have the potential to expand your career within different departments of the school system such as administration, human resources, counseling, etc. Most school districts prefer past teachers to fill these positions as they have had direct first hand experience interacting with students. The possibilities truly are endless.
