In New Jersey, athletic trainers start out at an average salary of $45,000/year and PTs start out at around $70,000/ year

For Texas, Payscale and Glassdoor provides an estimated 60k starting salary. Location will influence the estimation as well supply and demand. My tip would be to find the company that will open a career for you to learn from experience and be well positioned to reach your goals.
