Hi Addison! I think everyone can measure success differently so I would start by saying to set your own individual goals for yourself. Along the way, be sure to push yourself in every aspect you can. Instead of being good at one department in the work force, be well versed in three. Instead of just investing in yourself, invest in those around you who will help myou grow and help you to achieve those goals! Short and long term goals can also help you achieve your level of success. Some days you may feel like you are far from those goals, and other days they may seem like they are right at your fingertips! Either way, always keep pushing!!

Hi Addison,

That's a great question. I think it depends on everyone's personal measure of success. Ask yourself, what is it that you want to achieve, AND how you want to achieve. That way you can look at your GOALS, and the RESOURCES you need to find within yourself to get there. Here is my list of personal attributes for success: talent, discipline, resilience, adaptability, honesty, curiosity, passion, and self belief. I'd like to think that, everyday, I am getting closer to my goals (short & long term), through the exercise of these personal attributes. And that in itself, is a mark of success for me. Surely, plenty of people achieve their measure of success using a completely different set of attributes, and they are happy with that. It's a personal choice. Anyway, I don't want to get too heavy handed on this, but simply to help you reflect a bit more about what success means to you, and how you want to go about pursuing it. I better leave you with the expert, Simon Sinek, and his Top Rules for Success, which have a lot of insight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJxQ2kUGJkA

Hope this helps and good luck with everything!

Best,

Mariley
