Rachael’s Answer

Hi Deja,

Compensation will certainly depend on the size of the company and level in which you are at. I would suggest researching positions at some companies you think you would be interested in. Typically a position will list its compensation or have a range of what professionals in the field make.

Mark’s Answer

Compensation is dependent on experience, location, company size and type of auditing you would be performing, among other key factors. You can do a search of salary information to identify a general range based on the factors mentioned by myself and others in our responses that match your specific situation.

Aaron’s Answer

Salaries will fluctuate depending on years of experience, company size, industry, location, etc. A good reference for salary information is the Robert Half Accounting and Finance Salary Guide. You can compare information in the salary guide to salary ranges on websites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, Payscale, and BLS.gov. It's good to compare information from a few different sources as no one source will be completely accurate.
