Dear NPowerT. Your question is an interesting one. My response might vary based on what you consider a "quality job". In my opinion, you can find value in any job that you perform. In addition, you are getting an opportunity to network with other individuals. Once you have your foot in the door, leave your quality mark on the quality work that you perform, and you can be certain that your hard work will be noticed. It's been my experience that in some cases, it's "who you know". Those that have seen your work will often refer you to others for new opportunities with greater responsibilities! seethevalueinallyoudo

Hi NPower T,
A quality job has a different meaning for different people. For some monetary gains relates to job satisfaction whereas for some it is a balance between work and play.
From a personal experience i belive the best way to be happy is to find a balance between money and work-life balance in a job you do. The job you take should be challenging to you as that will give you the opportunity to grow.
Obviously your education helps a lot in landing a job which satisfies both. Alot of major companies have the benifits which allow you to enjoy work (which some might term as a quality job).
The only thing to remember is that you would need to put in all the hardwork and find something which peaks your interest. If you do the above, you will surely get a job which satisfies you and will be of good quality.
Hope my answer helps you.
Thanks,
Rohan

Echoing some of the previous answers, I would add that in my opinion, a "quality job" would be a job that performs as part of your foundation for building a successful career. With that thought in mind "quality jobs" can be brought to you rather than you having to go seek it. Working well with others on projects and producing successful results...and doing both of those things over a sustained period of time, generally gives individuals in these categories visibility to people who are the decision makers when it comes to new projects/jobs. When these decision makers scroll through their "mental rolodex", they think of those team members who they remember as being reliable, innovative and results driven. If you work on being that person, I suspect you will have no problem finding or receiving the "quality" jobs you seek.
Best of luck to you!
