How hard is it to become a police officer

I'm personally not in the field but have several cousins that became police officers. It will take hard work and perseverance as well as you will need to attend a police academy. I was able to find information here (https://www.how-to-become-a-police-officer.com/states/new-mexico/) about how to become a police officer in New Mexico as well as there is a list of the academies they have in the state that you could look into applying to. Being a police officer can be a very rewarding career. Best of luck!
