Mallory’s Answer

I would also suggest looking into being a medical scribe. I have a lot of friends that felt this helped prepare them for medical school because you learn the language of medicine and start to familiarize yourself with the office and build relationships with physicians.

Hope this helps!

Any job in the medical field, (nurse's assistant, medical assistant, phlebotomist, etc) will provide you with exposure to medicine and help with the application process to medical school.

Cheryl’s Answer

Hopefully this answer is not too late. If there is a desire to become a Doctor, there are several jobs that you can do that can slightly prepare you.
Being a Certified Nursing Assistant gives you some experience for better bedside manner. You could go further into the Nursing field to be closer to the idea of what to expect in a hospital and care role. Medical Assistant, Physician's Assistant, and several more positions, but most positions do require training. You could also see what hospitals or medical centers have volunteer work in your area. I hope this is able to help.
