This is a really specific question, from a field perspective, which unfortunately I can't speak to, but I'm going to give you a generic answer to get started.

What do you want? More specifically, what do you want out of a program in zoology? Your expectations for a program will be different from the next person even if they share the same interest of zoology, and you will encounter classmates who will have chosen the same program for different reasons than your own.

Establish some parameters for what "good" means to you, and then evaluate different programs based on those criteria.

If you have trouble getting started with this list, look at what the various programs advertise as a basis for the list.

The biggest things I'd want to know:

- What types of hands on "field" activities do they have built-in to the program/curriculum?
- Technology is important in every field, are they teaching/utilizing GIS, GPS tracking, etc.
- Are they affiliated with or networked in to the community/job-industry to help with job-placement or internships?

There's a ton more to evaluate as part of choosing a school, regardless of the specific program, make sure you like the school! Location, cost, dorms, food, etc.
