Totally depends on what you do....I am a Construction Manager. Sometimes as the Project Manager I'll start my day with a trip to the 'field' (usually twice a day depending on the size of the job) to look at construction progress or any problems/conflicts.. Then its in the office I go to answer emails, update/manage construction documents, communicate with the owner, architect/engineer, subcontractor, vendors, etc. Then there are times that I am the Superintendent. As Superintendent you stay in the field for a majority of the day communicating with the construction workers, looking at the job, ensuring the it's built correctly according to the plans and of proper quality, resolving construction conflicts, planning/scheduling, ensuring that the everyone is working together and most importantly that they are working safely. There are so many roles in this industry and a typical day for each one can be very different.
