Hi Ruby,
There is definitely a lot of structure when it comes to the rehabilitation process. Now every facility is different but usually, you see a schedule with strict times. Mornings may consist of breakfast and early morning meetings and activities. the afternoon may also be filled with group meetings and individual meetings/activities.

Ruby,
I was a program director in a drug/alcohol facility for a few years. A day in rehab is very structured. The clients have a schedule full of different therapeutic groups, such as cognitive behavior, addiction education, art, meditation, are just a few. The clients will have scheduled appointments with their therapeutic team and family therapy is encouraged. They have family visits and occasionally passes so they are able to transition back into the community.
A day in rehab can be full of emotion from anxiety to excitement. It is a healing environment and its a safe place for the clients!
